Weekly Random Ramblings of a Random Geek
March 18th, 2008, by Nicholas Mercer in /dev/randomA person can’t even begin to explain how insanely hectic and frantic the past two weeks have been with many new and exciting projects, a conference, traveling, and a hell of a lot more! The life of a geek is an amazingly exciting and fast paced lifestyle!
2008 Digital Content Conference
Being a geek makes it an automatic rush and increased level of excitement when invites come out for trade shows or conferences that can be attended, and this month, the 2008 Digital Content Conference was my quick fix thanks to the awesome guys over at Evening Post Digital (EPD).
These guys (as well as my Publisher and many others) have provided me with many opportunities with the company over the past year and they are honestly doing an excellent job trying to build up the company as well as increase revenue which is being fully showcased at this conference.
Just in the two days I’ve been here so far, I’ve got a notebook with over ten pages of notes, ideas out the wahzoo for increasing revenue and driving more traffic to our websites, and I’m realizing how much talent we honestly have in our group.
It’s been a hell of a good time and I hate to see it end tomorrow and have life go back to normal, but at least it’ll stay exciting with new plans and additions to our websites. On top of that, all of these notes will be killer for my “SEO for Dummies” series and just to simply show you how newspapers create revenue online.
